Mini Computer is a retro desktop simulation published by Better Brain Lab LLC. Your virtual files and preferences are saved in the app's local storage. Better Brain Lab LLC does not operate a server that receives these files, and this version includes no advertising, analytics SDK, account registration, or billing service.
Clearing app data or uninstalling the app can remove local files. Use Backup in File Manager to keep a copy, and Restore to import a previous Mini Computer or BBL-1 backup. Individual tools also provide file export. Not every unsaved editor or canvas state is retained automatically.
On Android, a system document picker lets you select an individual file or save destination. The app does not request broad access to your device storage. If you select a cloud document provider, that provider handles the transfer under its own policies. Mini Computer does not upload exports to a publisher-operated service.
The HTTP client, terminal curl command, and web reader make requests when you use their network features. Wikipedia and Hacker News requests go to their respective services; a custom request goes to the address you supply. These services receive normal request information, such as the requested address, your IP address and request headers. Information placed in a request URL is sent to that destination. Those services apply their own retention and privacy policies.
The app does not capture network packets. WirePeek is a labeled teaching demo. System information shown by the app is based on available browser/device hints; unsupported readings are marked unavailable.
Scripts run in a separate worker inside an isolated frame, with a time limit and network access disabled. Virtual file access is off by default. If you enable it, the selected script can read virtual files and propose changes that are applied after successful execution. Closing the tool or putting the app in the background stops its execution.
Where the device supports them, folding features and hinge-angle readings are used in memory to adapt the interface. Device state, keyboard input and touch coordinates are not sent to the publisher. The app does not request location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
Delete individual virtual files in File Manager or clear the app's storage using Android settings. Mini Computer has no user account or publisher-held profile to delete. Exports and backups stored outside the app remain at the destination you chose; delete them using that provider or your device's file manager.
The product website at minicomputer.betterbrainlab.com is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. The website does not include advertising, analytics scripts or a sign-up form.
If you email support, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your request and keep relevant correspondence while needed to resolve and follow up on it. You can contact us to request deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements. Avoid attaching sensitive information that is not needed for support.
